Greetings All,
Welcome Back to Penn Central Car Movements #111
Our three layout virtual op with my NYCTL interchanging freight traffic with PC Ralph's Kings Port Division and Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific Railroad continues today with the arrival of our inbound trains.
Due to the large amount of PCCM traffic descending on the NYCTL it will take five inbound installments to document all of the trains and car movements!!!
The Inbound action starts at Bedford Tower with hotshot train FAST-50 from Selkirk getting a highball from the tower operator.
The FAST-50, (Ford Auto Service Train) heads passes thru Bedford, NY.
The FAST-50 arrives in Terminal Yard. The FAST-50 U-Boats tie down in the engine terminal.
Big Mike working the yard job confers with Kar Knocker as they prepare to inspect and then break down the FAST-50 consist.
Kar Knocker has cleared the train and Big Mike gets to work with the TOFC traffic from the KP&W Williams Yard.
The Williams Yard TOFC traffic gets spotted at the TOFC ramp.
The FAST-50 caboose is shoved into the caboose track.
Big Mike sets up the PCCM traffic going to Bedford Park in Train BP-41.Over in Bedford Park Yard engineer Robert R has reported for duty and will be working the local industries and Ford Plant with RS11 7608.
A loaded non PCCM WM boxcar gets pulled from American Hardware Supply.Robert R starts pulling out non PCCM B&O loaded auto racks from the Ford Plant.
An empty non PCCM B&O 86' boxcar will be heading back to the B&O at Parma, Ohio.
Robert R has been cleared past Bedford Tower and proceeds towards Terminal Yard with Train BP-12.The BP-12 rolls towards Terminal Yard.
Engineer Robert drops the 7608 in the engine terminal for service and will jump into the green truck for transport to the BP-41 freight train.
Robert R has climbed aboard the PC RS11 7600-7604 power lash up.
Train BP-41 makes the long shove towards Bedford Park.
After cutting off the caboose and non Ford Plant traffic Robert R begins to shove the auto parts traffic into the Ford Plant. The LV boxcar is loaded with batteries from Delco. The PRR 86'er is one of a group of PCCM cars loaded with Auto Parts from IDEAL Auto Parts in Rock Ridge, NJ. Another 86'er loaded with IDEAL Auto Parts is shoved into the Ford Plant.
An EBRR 86'er (not shown) and two APRR 86'ers get shoved into the Ford Plant with auto parts from IDEAL.
After working the Ford Plant Robert R shoves PC boxcar #160502 into All City Storage with a load of stored merchandise from Battaglia Brothers Warehouse in Kings Port, NY.
Two EBRR and two APRR cars loaded with auto parts from IDEAL are placed in Bedford Park Yard for movement to the Ford Plant.
We'll cut it here for today with engineer Robert R tying down in Bedford Park Yard. An EBRR 86'er (not shown) and two APRR 86'ers get shoved into the Ford Plant with auto parts from IDEAL.

Nice to see the Fast-50 again with its big four unit power. I noted the exhaust coming from #2822 as it highballed past Bedford Tower in the first picture! I like the recent increase in sightings of B&O auto industry cars! The scene in which the #7608 is dropped off and the engineer gets a ride to the next train was a nice prototypical detail! The BP-41 shove move works well in serving the Beford Park industries! Nice start on the inbounds and I'm looking forward to the four additional installments!

Rock Ridge Yard out!
The Ford Plant takes center stage on this inbound series, especially with the infamous FAST 50 train! The B&O train with some auto racks and the 86’ box car was another nice touch. I like the single RS-11 working that train. A lot of freight cars were dropped at Ford, one of your busier industries at Bedford Park. The shove with BP-41 was a unique move that I may or may not have seen from Terminal Yard. Still nice to watch.
Great start to the inbound portion of PCCM 111!
