Welcome Back to New York-New Jersey Ops #3!!!
NY-NJ Ops #3 continues today with the NYCTL working on interchanging freight traffic with Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific Railroad and dispatching an outbound train towards the APRR Rock Ridge Yard.
Part 3 opens up in Terminal Yard with Kar Knocker having finished his inspections of Trains NH-3 and WSJ-2 and Big Mike ready to sort and block the freight cars.
The three empty Hi-Cubes brought in by Train WSJ-2 are coupled up to a string of empty PC boxcars. The empties will be moving to their next NY-NJ loads during the coming inbound train movements.
The Terminal Yard crew calls it a day and goes off duty.
Over 16th Street the B&O Transfer crew has come on duty. A pair of H16-44s are the current power.
Getting pulled from 16th Street Yard are three APRR and three EBRR 57' reefers fully fueled and loaded with frozen foods from Birdseye going to C&P Restaurant Supply in Rock Ridge, NJ. The 16th Street Transfer departs the yard.
The loaded APRR & EBRR 57' reefers are delivered to Terminal Yard.
The B&O Crew will be pulling cars from the TW&CS Complex that included very hot LV/NIRX boxcar #41000 loaded with time sensitive printed materials from The Lightning Press.
The TW&CS freight cars are pulled.
The TW&CS freight cars are pulled.
Freight traffic for the TW&CS Complex get delivered.
Empty BAR reefer #7674 is spotted at Birdseye for its next NY-NJ load.
Four TP&W RBLs are placed for Consolidated Grocery Distributors and their next NY-NJ loads.
The B&O crew heads back to their 16th Street Yard.
Big Mike is back on duty running the yard job once again and blocking Train HN-2 which will haul 21 freight cars of NY-NJ freight traffic to Maybrook Yard for movement towards the Atlantin Pacific Railroad's Rock Ridge Yard.
Four EBRR gondolas of scrap going to Bethlehem Steel will be on the head end of the HN-2. The empty Hi-Cubes and PC boxcar will be moved towards their next NY-NJ loads during the inbound portion of this virtual op. The engineer for Train HN-2 is picking up his locomotives at the engine terminal.
The H16-44s couple up and pump the air. Kar Knocker and Big Mike take a minute to check out the quartet of FM locomotives nearing the
end of their service lives.
Train HN-2 departs Terminal Yard.
