P.C.C.M. 50G Part 6

Greetings All,

Welcome back to P.C.C.M. 50G!!

We'll wrap up 50G today with the Bedford Local delivering a pair of B&M RBLs to Heileman Brewery. These two cars are part of a five car block consigned to the brewery. The block of cars originated at West Mill and came our way on PC Train WMV-1. The other three cars are not able to fit into the brewery siding and are considered constructively placed in Terminal Yard awaiting notification from Heileman that they are ready to accept delivery.

The Bedford local prepares to leave Terminal Yard as the crew gets a good look at the newest Amtrak motive power and rolling stock.
The B&M RBLs loaded with new glass bottles from Corning Glass make their way thru Bedford towards Heileman Brewery.
The SW9s shove into the Heileman siding to pick up these Hi Cube boxcars loaded cases of tall neck bottles of beer.
The 50' RBLs with their new bottles from are spotted.
Tower operator 1/87th scale John B has the switches lined for the main to allow the EMDs to run around their train. He's gotta be tired from going up and down all those stairs with all these train movements!
The pups couple up and head back to Terminal Yard and that wraps up P.C.C.M 50G!
Next up will be P.C.C.M. 50K (I like that number!) that will document the arrival of the late running freight cars from the A.P.R.R. Stay tuned there's lots more coming down the pike!

Thanks for reading!

  1. To: Terminal Yard
    From: West Mill

Acknowledge dispatch of the Bedford local with cars forwarded from West Mill.

    West Mill out.
Another nice look at that sweet AMTRAK train, nice shots of the Heilemans area, and train meets...lots of action as always! I'm impressed to see all of this considering how much work the N.Y.C.T.L. has had to do on this series! My brass hat is off to you!

  2. Another great segment on the NYCTL! Agree with Ralph, the NYCTL has really been working hard throughout PCCM 50. Enjoyed the action in and around Heileman Brewery.
