P.C.C.M. 50G Part 5

Greetings All,

Welcome back to P.C.C.M. 50G!!

1:1 PC Ralph said it best. P.C.C.M. 50 has generated a LOT of railroading!!! Check out his latest P.C.C.M. 50 moves on his K.P.D. blog site:

We open up part 5 at the Empire Belt RR's North Side Yard with 1/87th scale Senior Engineer Sir Neal conferring with 1/87th scale PC Ralph who's ready to depart for the Penn Central's Terminal Yard with train EB-2.
EB-2 heading towards Terminal Yard meets the L.I.R.R. transfer run holding at Bedford station.
1/87th scale PC Ralph notches up the throttle as he runs past the stopped LIRR train.
Train EB-2 arrives at Terminal Yard.
Yard switcher A gets to work on EB-2
1/87th scale PC Ralph reclaims his caboose.
Meanwhile over at North Side Yard the L.I.R.R. transfer run has arrived and yarded it's train.
The L.I.R.R. engines have run around to the Hohman Ave entrance and coupled up to their outbound train containing these two reefers that originated on 1:1 John B's Extra 53 East.
The L.I.R.R. heads back to Bliss Yard with cars from the K.P.D., R.C.R. and L.F.&N.W.
A block of cars from Galesburg on Brian's R.C.R. layout
Once again the L.I.R.R. transfer run meets the E.B.R.R. in Bedford NY. The E.B.R.R. engines are running caboose light back to North Side Yard and the L.I.R.R. is heading for Bliss Yard.
We'll close it out here for today with the Bedford Local getting ready to leave Terminal Yard with a pair of B&M RBLs for Heileman Brewery while a brand new Amtrak F40PH with a heritage baggage car and five new Amfleet cars arrives at the Terminal Yard passenger platform. After seeing this Amtrak equipment in the later Green Frog PC videos I thought I'd put it into the mix.
See Ya tomorrow!!!
Thanks for reading!!

    Rock Ridge Yard Out!

Just have to love the mixed road power in and around the yard areas. My favorite LIRR engines are always nice to see. That Amtrak F40 train looks sharp too!

  2. Wow! It is obvious that the N.Y.C.T.L. has taken on a lion's share of the ops in this series but you've found time to show us cool train meets with the L.I.R.R. and a great looking AMTRAK train! Excellent work from the neat lead off pic of the crews conversing from cab to cab to the splendid promise of a red white and blue F40PH and passenger cars!

  3. Really nice action with the LIRR and Empire Belt trains. Cool to see the block of cars running on the NYCTL. I think the virtual ops is starting to really gel with all five railroads. Agree with Ralph, your Amtrak trains are adding a nice touch to the series!
