New York - New Jersey Ops #4 / Outbound Part 3 / Dispatch Day

 Greetings All,
Welcome Back to New York - New Jersey Ops #4!!!
Today is Dispatch Day for the NYCTL trains interchanging freight traffic with Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific Railroad as well as other off layout connections. We'll take care of some local business before dispatching four outbound trains of NY-NJ freight traffic towards Rock Ridge Yard. That's right four outbound trains!!

We open up the action in Terminal Yard with the terminal switcher pulling the caboose from the BT-28 freight consist.
A short time later Kar Knocker has inspected and released the train and Big Mike wastes no time getting the yard in order.
A couple of hours later an engineer has been called for PC Train MR-1 (Mine Run) sitting on track #7 with two GP7s for power.
Train MR-1 departs Terminal Yard
The MR-1 arrives at T&R Gravel and gets inspected by the EB Tower operator.
The MR-1 works T&R Gravel
Train MR-2 gets ready to shove back to Terminal Yard with a crummy looking crummy protecting the move.
Train MR-2 heads back to Terminal Yard.
Kar Knocker and Big Mike inspect the MR-2 as it gets shoved into Terminal Yard.
The mystery hogger returns the GP7s to the engine terminal and is greeted by hostler Wet Willie who is always eager to make a new friend.
With the last local train now in the yard Big Mike works quickly to block three of the four outbound NY-NJ Freight trains.
Over at the TOFC Ramp the Mi-Jack is putting the final trailers onto the flatcars that will be heading to Rock Ridge Yard as Train NYNJ-1.
The final trailers have been added, the train has been walked and inspected. Penn Central U25B 2647 couples onto the NYNJ-1.
The terminal switcher tacks on PC caboose 5023.
The hottest train of the day, NYNJ-1, departs Terminal Yard.
Next stop Rock Ridge Yard!!!
Back in Terminal Yard an F7 A-B-A lash up couples onto the second train, TS-15 (Terminal Yard - Selkirk), heading to Rock Ridge Yard with two cars on the headend to be dropped along the way at Selkirk for their movements to the Northwest and their next NY-NJ loads.
Train TS-15 is on the move!!
Next stop Selkirk!!!
Thirty minutes later we're back in Terminal Yard to catch a colorful lash up coupling up to Train TW-47 ( Terminal Yard - Weehawken)
APRR GP38-2 #358 with PC GP40 #3175 and GP35 #2252 lead Train TW-47 out of Terminal Yard towards Weehawken Yard with NY-NJ freight traffic for the APRR.
Next Stop Weehawken Yard!!!
Last but not least we catch the newly repaired PC U28C #6533 coupling onto a freight train with NY-NJ traffic for the APRR at Rock Ridge Yard and the LV at Allentown Yard.
Extra 6533 West departs Terminal Yard for Rock Ridge Yard.
Next stop Rock Ridge!!!
See you for the Inbound!!!
This concludes the inbound portion on the NYCTL. Be sure to catch all the action on Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific Railroad.
Thanks for reading and watching!!!
See you next week!!!

    Rock Ridge Yard out!

An outstanding set of moves from Terminal Yard! Wet Willie and Big Mike did a great job of getting those trains blocked and on the move to Rock Ridge Yard. Nice to see PC 6533 back in action and NJ John awaits seeing this train as well as the other manifest trains arrive at Rock Ridge Yard!

    Great job Sir John!!
