Penn Central Car Movements #80 / NYCTL Part 2

 Greetings All,

Welcome back to Penn Central Car Movements #80!!

Follow along as the P.C.C.M's enter their fifth year! This virtual op is once again be a three layout affair with my N.Y.C.T.L. interchanging freight cars with PC Ralph's Kings Port Division and Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific RR.

We open up part 2 at the Empire Belt RR's North Side Yard in Empire City NY with Sir Neal working the Morning Industrial Job.

Sir Neal is enjoying the EMD six axle power as he shoves the Morning Industrial Job (MIJ) towards the secondary track.

The MIJ's first stop is Gervais Pipe to pick up a pair of gondolas loaded with pipe for Shapeless Steel in Rock Ridge NJ.

Three empty PC RBLs get pulled from Ralph's Grocery Warehouse for their next P.C.C.M. loads

BAR 7574 and NPM 473 loaded with baked goods from Freihofer's bakery and a non PCCM PC car get spotted at Ralph's Grocery Warehouse for unloading.

Empty P&E boxcar #3638 gets pulled from Neal's Lumber & Hardware for it's next P.C.C.M. load.

Sir Neal has the MIJ back together and prepares to work the midtown industries.

Empty HRC and AP boxcars get spotted at Empire Produce for their P.C.C.M. loads

The midtown work completed Sir Neal buzzes the Hohman Ave tower as he brings the MIJ to the west side of town.

The MIJ gets to work on the West Side pulling NYC boxcar #80775 from Moore & Co loaded with bulk cardboard for Canton Box and NH boxcar #36116 from City Pallet loaded with pallets for Port Owen Brick and a non P.C.C.M. car from Drywell Inks.

Next move is to spot P&E boxcar #3638 at Drywell Inks for it's next P.C.C.M. load.

The dock workers have positioned some of the A.C.C.O. barrels loaded with ink and are ready for the empty to be spotted.

Sir Neal continues working the westside industries moving some non PCCM cars.

The next move is to pull PC boxcar #142770 from Superior Furniture loaded with furniture for 3 Amigos Warehouse and EBRR boxcar #360279 from Reliable Machine loaded with parts for IBM.

Sir Neal has the MIJ back together and heads back to the yard.

The MIJ arrives at North Side Yard.

We'll cut it here for today as Sir Neal gets the yard in shape and  Train EB-2 ready for departure.

We'll pick it up tomorrow with PC Ralph taking Train EB-2 to Terminal Yard behind a classic Alco consist.

We'll close out the NYCTL outbound portion tomorrow with the dispatch of our outbound trains.

Be sure to catch the action on PC Ralph's Kings Port Division and Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific RR.

Thanks for reading and watching!!!
See ya tomorrow!!!

The MIJ had extensive work to do and did it well! Lots of picks ups and set outs for us ops fans to enjoy! EBRR power looking great at the head end. Amalgamated Container Co. appreciated the shout out at the Drywell Inks loading dock! Looking forward to seeing EB-2 with its Alco consist next time!

    Rock Ridge Yard Out!

Now that’s what I call an Industrial Job! 1:87 Sir Neal like EB 6294 & 6295 and they perform well without hesitation! The high line shot of the train heading back to the yard looks great. I’m sure 1:87 Sir Neal will be happy to get back to the yard with all the moves that happened!

1:87 Sir Neal continues working hard for the railroad to keep their customers happy and is always on the lookout for new business. He is a credit to the 1:87 engineer profession!😉
