10 years! and Rainy Ray Railfanning at Hohman Ave.

Greetings All,

Hope this blog entry finds everyone in good spirits and good health.

The N.Y.C.T.L. blog opens it's tenth year this year!!

I've been slowly getting the layout back to normal after the extended Holiday Train running with P.C.C.M. #80 scheduled to begin next Friday, January 15th.

I've gathered paint and decals for several rolling stock projects that include an EL caboose paint and decal project using these K-4 decals.

A New York Central RDC car is on the project list to receive the distinctive NYC safety stripes from these Great Decals.

Decals have arrived to make an undecorated five unit Gunderson Maxi III well car set into a Southern Pacific Double Stack 125 Service set.

These projects await the greenlight for the Patti O Paint Shop to open.

While I wait for the weather to clear I filmed this video of rainy day railfanning at Hohman Ave.

Thanks for reading and watching!!!!
See ya soon!!!

  1. Good looking projects coming up in the future on the N.Y.C.T.L. It would be worth getting wet at Hohman Ave to see those trains go by!

Cool vid. It kind of reminded me of being on ALASKA WAY on Seattle's waterfront on a fall-thru-spring day.

  3. Congratulations on 10 amazing years! The N.Y.C.T.L. continues to grow and shine in the eyes of your fellow model railroaders! You always have a new project in the works, and I can't wait to see the Intermodal well cars come to fruition!

Looking forward to the next 10 years of your blog!
