P.C.C.M. 60 / NYCTL Part 6 / Final Installment

Greetings All,

Welcome back to the P.C.C.M. 60 series!!!

We'll finish up our inbound train movements today with the Empire Belt RR and Long Island RR taking care of business.

1/87th scale senior engineer Sir Neal has maneuvered the EBRR Morning Industrial Job onto the industrial track and is ready to shove back to work Empire City's east side industries.

1/87th scale conductor John is protecting the shove from EBRR caboose #1606 as 1/87th scale PC Ralph heads to the office to attend to PCCM administrative projects needed to keep these virtual ops running smoothly.  

The first stop of the morning is Empire City Cargill. Loaded covered hoppers have been pulled out and sit on the industrial track. Three loaded PC cylindrical hoppers from Rock Ridge NJ Cargill follow two empties into Empire City Cargill.

Empty PC #886759 and TLDX #7241 are shoved to the end of the Cargill spur to await their next PCCM loads.

The trio of PC covered hoppers are now ready to be unloaded.

The MIJ is now working Ralph's Grocery Warehouse pulling the orange Hoschton Railway and Rock Island boxcars for their next PCCM destinations.

Loaded RBLs from Rock Ridge  NJ industries on the APRR include cars from Tropicana, Marcal and Freihoefers Bakery are now spotted at Ralph's. Looks like 1/87th scale PC Ralph is taking a break from his administrative projects to supervise the car moves and maybe grab a slice or two for lunch. 

The MIJ has spotted two KP&W breadbox trough cars loaded with steel coils from Kings Port Steel at Gervais Pipe and Fitting. 1/87th scale Bobby G can be heard yelling from his forklift 'Send me some Gons!' as the MIJ departs.  

1/87th scale Sir Neal brings the MIJ thru midtown towards the west side. 

The MIJ passes Hohman Ave tower as it rolls into the west side.

First stop is Superior Furniture to pull two loaded 40' boxcars.

With the siding clear PC boxcar #360158 loaded with large Zenith Console TVs (remember them?) from Zenith in Bloomberg NY is spotted at Superior Furniture.

GM&O #21129 loaded with 55 gallon drums of cutting oil from the Gulf River Facility is spotted at Walsh Steel Wool Products.   

The MIJ is now back together and heading back to the North Side Yard east side entrance.

1/87th scale PC Ralph is back at North Side Yard and greets the MIJ as it rolls into the yard. 1/87th scale Sir Neal gets the word that there is hot pizza waiting in the breakroom!

After their lunch break 1/87th scale senior engineer Sir Neal and conductor John are back tidying up the yard. AP #60382 loaded with paper products from Marcal, IC #30130 and PC #77047 loaded with cases of soda from Woodstock Hills are constructively placed in North Side Yard for delivery to Ralph's Grocery Warehouse when called for.  

1/87th scale Sir Neal and conductor John are now running the Afternoon Industrial Job and have left the yard to work the midtown industries. Two EBRR boxcars loaded with furniture and AP hopper #9416 loaded with aggregate from Hedberg Aggregate in Marion NY for NYS DOT Region #10 await the LIRR transfer run.

TPFX #5510 loaded with apples from Vancouver and EL #5034 with a load from C&P Restaurant Supply are spotted at Empire Produce.

NYC #892010 is spotted at Red Wing Milling for it's next PCCM load.

It's late afternoon and the LIRR transfer run from Bliss Yard is heading thru Bedford NY on it's way to North Side Yard. 

The LIRR arrives at North Side Yard. 1/87th scale PC Ralph is out stretching his legs to greet the arriving train and direct them to their outbound cars.

The LIRR couples up to their outbound train under the watchful eyes of 1/87th scale senior engineer Sir Neal. The Morton Salt covered hopper is heading to Ronzoni in L.I.C. with a load of salt from the Morton Salt Plant in Rock Ridge NJ and the EBRR gon is loaded with a storage tank from ACCO in Mayfield NY for Crown Oil and Chemical also in L.I.C. NY.

The LIRR transfer run passes Bedford Tower getting a roll by inspection from tower operator 1/87th scale John B on its way back to Bliss Yard and that wraps up the NYCTL's inbound portion of PCCM 60. Put it in the books!!!
