Greetings All,
Welcome Back to New York-New Jersey Ops #3!!!
NY-NJ Ops #3 continues today with the NYCTL beginning to receive the first inbound trains from Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific Railroad's Rock Ridge Yard. Let's get to it!!
Empire City railfans have found another good spot to catch the train action as they set up to watch Penn Central Train TY-4 from Selkirk coming into Empire City with NJ-NJ freight traffic.
The engineer has brought the TY-4 power to the engine terminal for servicing and is greeted by engine hostler Wet Willie.
The usual suspects have gathered to get the TY-4 freight cars inspected and blocked into their next trains.

The BP-41 gets a transfer caboose to protect the shove more to the FORD Plant.
The terminal switcher brings the cabooses back to the caboose track.
Over at Bedford Tower Robert R is ready to switch the FORD Plant.
Big Mike is quickly out to grab the BP-12 freight cars.
Robert R. has coupled his RS2s to the BP-41 consist and chats with Kar Knocker as they pump up the air.Train BP-41 departs Terminal Yard for Bedford Park.
After cutting off the caboose it's time to deliver the shutdown cars to the FORD Plant. LV boxcar #8247 is loaded with batteries from Delco in Flint, MI.
NYC & PRR 86' boxcars of auto parts from IDEAL Auto Parts in Rock Ridge NJ are placed on the FORD siding.Empty PRR auto racks assigned to the FORD pool out of Rock Ridge East are shoved into the plant for their next loads of new cars.
Robert R. shoves the last auto rack into the plant.
After taking care of another assembly line crisis Robert R. ties down the RS2s and caboose in Bedford Park Yard.
Meanwhile over in Empire City Penn Central Train Extra 6533 East from Rock Ridge Yard is making its way to Terminal Yard.An Empire Belt pool caboose is set out in the yard.
Big Mike begins his work with a block of empty NY-NJ freight cars held in the yard for movement to their next NY-NJ loads.
After a couple of hours Big Mike has the yard in good shape.
We'll cut it here for today with the U23Cs placed at the sanding rack and Big Mike going to beans.
We'll pick it up tomorrow at the engine terminal with Alco Joe reporting for Train EC-1, the freight transfer to the EBRR's North Side Yard.

Rock Ridge Yard out!
What a great start to your inbound freight trains! PC Extra 6533 stole the show with the breakdown and having a pair of Geeps on the front end. I think the Penn Central needs to add more power to future trains to and from Rock Ridge Yard.
The Ford Plant moves were nice now that we added some auto racks to the mix. The Beford crew made everyone proud. Now I’m not so sure how Big Mike is going to be after handling the U23C engines and now a broken down U28C engine. Call out for reinforcements!!
Excellent work Sir John!!
