Greetings All,
Welcome Back to Penn Central Car Movements #110
Our three layout virtual op with my layout interchanging freight traffic with Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific RR and PC Ralph's Kings Port Division continues today in Empire City.
The Empire Belt RR Trainmen have welcomed Sir B.M. Kingsbeer owner of the Cuspidor & Southern Railroad, a narrow gauge railroad headquartered in Cuspidor, Colorado. Mr. BMK is visiting the EBRR as part of a management exchange program.
The action starts in Haydon Heights with PC Ralph and conductor Rocky getting ready to board and fire up the H16-44s that will power today's HH-1.
The guys get right to work pulling a long cut of empty covered hoppers from the Quaker Plant that will be moving towards their next PCCM loads.
Next move is to pull three empty Evans coil coaches from Gervais Pipe & Fitting for movement to their next PCCM loads.
The HH-1 has shoved back to the Quaker siding and couples up to a Hoschton Railway RBL loaded with cereal products for C&P Restaurant Supply in Rock Ridge, NJ. The gondola of pipe is for HVAC and will be delivered to the KP&W at Williams Yard.
The HH-1 is ready to head to North Side Yard.

I enjoyed learning about Mr. Kingsbeer and the Cuspidor & Southern RR. The N.Y.C.T.L appears to have provided a warm welcome a lots of railfanning (trainspotting, that is!) opportunities for him at many high action locations! I admire Empire City's efforts to make him feel at home with the red double decker tour bus. After the tour we wish we could join you to pull a pint and toast his visit! The HH-1/HH-2 run has shaped up to be a busy and interesting op serving Quaker Oats and Gervais! A lot of freight cars were moved in this installment including a long EB-2 hauling 30 PCCM cars! Its a good thing they have such a great looking and well maintained power roster! I noted the neat mix of coaches on the intercity passenger run. Great videos with realistic sound effects as trains rumbled by and played a horn symphony for Mr. Kingsbeer! I liked the burbling units on EB-3 coming out of the tunnel! Also noting the debut of EBRR car #5794, another fine quality product of the Patti-O Paint Shop! Fantastic installment all around!
