Penn Central Car Movements #102 Part 3 / Dispatch of Outbound Trains

 Greetings All,

Welcome to Penn Central Car Movements #102!!!
PCCM 102 is another three layout virtual op with my NYCTL interchanging freight traffic with Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific RR and PC Ralph's Kings Port Division and continues today with the dispatch of our outbound trains.

The action starts with Big Mike having the yard in order and knocking off for the day.
At this time the Yard "A" crew is now on duty and the 16A gets ready to begin its work.
The 16A makes its moves.
The 16A returns to Yard "A".
Train CJ-1 is next out of Terminal Yard with the usual three ex NYC GP7s for power.
The Coal Job departs Terminal Yard.
The CJ-1 hold at EB tower for the rear brakeman to open the switch to Hudson Coal.
Loaded hoppers get pulled from Hudson Coal.
The Coal Job pulls the loads and shoves back the empties.
The empties are spotted. The PRR and NYC hoppers will be receiving their next PCCM coal loads.
The Coal Job is back together and prepares to head back to Terminal Yard as Train CJ-2.
Train CJ-2 heads back to Terminal Yard.
The CJ-2 arrives back in Terminal Yard.
Kar Knocker and Big Mike take a minute to check out KP&W hopper 202 making its PCCM debut before the caboose gets pulled and the train gets inspected.
The coal train is cleared for movement and Big Mike starts making up an outbound coal extra that will be heading to the Bow, NH power plant.
GP38 #7675 and FP7 #4369 couple up to the coal extra.
Extra 7675 departs Terminal Yard.
Next stop Selkirk.
Engine hostler Wet Willie has coupled on the power and PC Train SK-5 prepares to depart Terminal Yard with PCCM freight traffic for the KPD.
Train SK-5 is on the move!
Next stop Selkirk!!!
Back in Terminal Yard our final outbound PCCM 102 train, Train SK-7, with freight traffic for the APRR is stretching the slack and ready to roll.
Train SK-7 departs Terminal Yard.
Next stop Selkirk!!!

Penn Central Car Movements #102 Part 2

 Greetings All,

Welcome Back to Penn Central Car Movements #102!!!
PCCM 102 continues today with my NYCTL interchanging freight traffic with Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific RR and PC Ralph's Kings Port Division.

The action opens up today with the Water Street Job arriving in Empire City to service the PC Richard Warehouse located in the older Water Street Freight House. 
The WSJ crew couples onto three empty Hi Cubes. The two APRR and one EBRR cars are in appliance service and being pulled for movement to their next PCCM loads.
The WSJ takes care of business and heads back to Terminal Yard as Train WSJ-2
The WSJ-2 rolls into Terminal Yard.
Big Mike and Kar Knocker prepare to get the WSJ-2 and BT-28 freight consists inspected and moving to their next destinations.
Meanwhile back in Bedford the PCCM freight traffic is rolling right along!
LIRR Train MA-3 is greeted by the EBRR trainmen as it arrives in North Side Yard.
LIRR engineer Jimmy Alco checks in with the guys as his conductor delivers the waybills to the EBRR office.
The LIRR crew gets ready to head back to Fresh Pond Yard.

Train MA-4 heads back to Fresh Pond Yard.
The EBRR guys get ready to get North Side Yard in order and make up the Belt Job that provides final mile rail service to the industries in Empire City. Senior engineer Sir Neal mounts his power and will work the yard.
Sir Neal has set up the Belt Job for PC Ralph to pick up. The guys are out on their respective porches conferring on the next moves.
With Sir Neal in the clear PC Ralph couples up to the Belt Job freight consist.
The Belt Job is on the move!
The Belt Job starts its work on the eastside at Gervais Pipe & Fitting coupling up to one PC and three EBRR gondolas loaded with pipe for Shapeless Steel in Rock Ridge, NJ.
Now working the Ralph's Grocery Warehouse siding the crew pulls two APRR boxcars loaded with packaged foods for C&P Restaurant Supply in Rock Ridge, NJ and empty PC boxcar 229046 being moved towards its next PCCM load.
Next move is to pull covered hoppers from Empire City Cargill.
An empty Cargill covered hopper is placed for its next PCCM load. 
The crew is now working Neal's Lumber and Hardware and pulling empty P&E and PC boxcars for movement to their next PCCM loads. 
Two EBRR boxcars loaded with plumbing supplies from American Hardware in Rock Ridge, NJ are spotted at Neal's Lumber & Hardware.
After getting their train back together the Belt Job heads west.
Now on the west side the Belt Job makes a shove move to reach Reliable Machine Company.
EBRR boxcar 358160 is pulled from Reliable Machine loaded with cutting machines for Marcal in Rock Ridge, NJ.
Being pulled from Moore & Company is NYC boxcar 80755 loaded with bulk cardboard for Canton Box in West Mill, NY.
The crew is still working the westside as IC boxcar 30130 is pulled from City Pallet with pallets for Reynolds Beverage in West Mill, NY.
The Belt Job has shoved back to the Drywell Inks siding to pull PC boxcar 104478 and RI boxcar 35062 loaded with 55 gal drums of ink for the Catskill Mountain Press in Bloomberg, NY.
Now making their last moves on the westside the crew spots empty APRR boxcars 4035 and 4182 at Moore & Company for their next PCCM loads.
The Belt Job crew has finished their switch work and head back to North Side Yard.
PC Ralph has brought the Belt Job back to North Side Yard on the Belt Line and confers with Sir Neal on how they want to build their transfer train, EB-2, to Terminal Yard.
After the sorting of the waybills and empty car requests Train EB-2 is built and PC Ralph shoves empty PC and P&E boxcars into track #1 for clean out and prep for their next local PCCM loads.
Empire Belt Train EB-2 gets ready to depart with senior engineer Sir Neal at the throttle.. 
Train EB-2 departs North Side Yard.
And rumbles thru Bedford.
EBRR Train EB-2 arrives in Terminal Yard.
We'll cut it here for today with Sir Neal and Big Mike talking things over before the EBRR guys head back to North Side Yard caboose lite.
We'll pick it up tomorrow in Terminal Yard with Big Mike getting the yard in shape and the dispatch of our final outbound trains.

Penn Central Car Movements #102 Part 1 / The Gathering Begins

 Greetings All,

Welcome to Penn Central Car Movements #102!!!
PCCM 102 will be another three layout virtual op with my NYCTL interchanging freight traffic with Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific RR and PC Ralph's Kings Port Division as we continue the march to PCCM #200!!

The action starts at "Yard A" with the now familiar Alco FAs running their last revenue miles hiding from becoming trade in fodder and the scrapper's torch. 

The 16A Job transfers empty hoppers from Yard A to Terminal Yard.
The empty hoppers are shoved into Terminal Yard track #6 for movement to nearby Hudson Coal for their next PCCM loads.
The 16A power heads back to "Yard A".
The "16A" crew stops at Bruce Electric to pullout GM&O boxcar #21129.
The GM&O and CBQ boxcars are setout for pickup.
Back in "Yard A" the crew starts pulling a cut of cars for delivery to consignees in the Terminal Warehouse & Cold Storage complex (TW&CS) and Terminal Yard. 
The 16A Job Departs Yard "A".
The 16A crew picks up a cut of non PCCM cars from Terminal Yard.
The GM&O and CBQ boxcars are coupled onto for movement to "Yard A".
The 16A crew starts working the TW&CS industries pulling a cut of PCCM reefers and boxcars.
Inbound cars for the TW&CS complex are spotted at their proper door locations.
The 16A makes its shove move back to "Yard A".
The 16A heads back to Yard "A".
We'll leave the 16A to work Yard "A" as three PCCM reefers are shoved into track #1.
It's time to check in with Robert R and the Bedford Park Job. We catch up with the BPJ at Bedford Tower getting train orders to head to Terminal Yard as Train BP-12.
The BP-12 heads to Terminal Yard.
Robert R brings the BP-12 into Terminal Yard.
Once again the yard crew and Robert R perform a quick turnaround to get hot auto parts cars to the Bedford Park Ford Plant with Train BP-41.
The BP-41 departs Terminal Yard.
Robert R brings the BP-41into Bedford Park Yard and we'll leave him to deliver the hot non PCCM cars.
Back in Terminal Yard engine hostler Wet Willie surprises Alco Joe with a first time PCCM all Alco RS2-FB1-RS2-RS2 lash up to power the Bedford Turn, Train BT-27. Some might call this junk power but to Alco Joe Christmas has come early.
Train BT-27 departs Terminal Yard.
The BT-27 gets to work at the Hostess Plant coupling up to a cut of cars including the empty Hostess covered hopper that will be heading to the large Rock Ridge Cargill complex for its next PCCM load.
The BT-27 shoves back on the long siding and couples up to PC boxcar 142770 at the Berk Enterprises loading dock loaded with printed packaging for Morton Salt in Rock Ridge, NJ
The BT-27 next pulls a cut of cars from University Millwork including PC boxcar 360158 loaded with TV cabinets for Zenith in Bloomberg, NY.
The BT-27 is now at work pulling a cut of cars from the Schaefer Brewery including newly repainted APRR 4160 and BAR boxcar 5226 loaded with beer for Reynolds Beverage in West Mill, NY.
After getting the Bedford freight cars together Alco Joe holds on the Bedford Secondary awaiting clearance to enter the mainline and make his runaround move to get on the head end of what will become Train BT-28 that will head back to Terminal Yard.

The power has coupled on and the Bedford Turn prepares to head back to Terminal Yard.
The BT-28 heads back to Terminal Yard.
We'll cut it here for today with the Bedford Turn returning to Terminal Yard.
We'll pick it up tomorrow with the Water Street Job at work in Empire City.
