Greetings All,
Welcome to Random Running #3
We open today's short post with a six car Conrail lash up featuring an EMD GP30 and F7A still in Penn Central paint. The four Conrail painted units are powered locomotives from Mantua. The PC units are a dummy units from Athearn and Bachmann respectively.
This was a cool looking train to railfan and it enjoyed the run of the layout for several days.
This Big Blue consist is from Athearn with all units powered. The consist consists of a GP35-GP40-2-SW1500-GP40-2. This was another good looking and running lash up that I enjoyed railfanning.
Last but certainly not least is this trio of NY&SW B40-8s from Walthers. These engines have been in the fleet for a very long time and are eye catching favorites. The engines are quite heavy and run very well.Enjoy the trains!!!
I'm liking these Random Running posts. Each is a surprise and a railfan treat! I don't mind going a few years ahead of the PC era to enjoy the Conrail consists!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ralph!! Glad you are enjoying the post PC era trains!!
