It’s a wrap! This has to be one of our best P.C.C.M. series in a long time! A little levity at a time we need it, some serious freight being moved from railroad to railroad, but more important, having some great fun doing it.
I hope our followers enjoy our Penn Central Car Movements as much as we enjoy making them. Please take a moment and post on all three blogs how much you enjoy reading our blogs!

DeleteI agree, an excellent virtual op with three layouts and over 100 cars interchanged. The built in levity always add a nice touch!

Acknowledge Yard Job, Dispatch of EC-1, Afternoon Industrial Job, and LIRR Transfer.
West Mill out.
Fine work by crews at Terminal Yard and North Side Yard, along with the LIRR getting all cars in this series delivered to their consignees. You know, I hadn't heard the word consignees before participating in the virtual ops! There were many of them this time requiring several more cars than we usually forward to each other. Great job handling them all! I believe this recent LIRR Transfer is the longest you've run in a P.C.C.M. series! It occurred to me that setting cars out at assigned doors at Terminal Warehouse is an op of its own! Totally enjoyed this post and all in this series!

DeleteThanks Ralph!!!! Look at you learning a new word you can use in polite company!!! Consignee is a cool word and we used it a lot in this series!! I think you're right the LIRR transfer was the longest on record and the Terminal Warehouse can be an op on it's own if we assigned doors to the arriving freight cars.
Thanks for playing such a big role in this very impressive three layout virtual op!
A very interesting series wrap up John! All of you guys did great!
ReplyDeleteThanks for following along Robert R!! And thank you for the compliments!
