Welcome back to the first Virtual Ops aka the Penn Central Car Movements of 2020! Today we continue our 68th P.C.C.M. series between PC Ralph's Kings Port Division and my NYCTL. Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific RR will be joining the op next weekend.
We open up in Empire City at the Empire Belt RR's North Side Yard where 1/87th scale senior engineer Sir Neal and PC Ralph prepare to put together the daily transfer freight, known as Train EB-2, going to the Penn Central's Terminal Yard .
Meanwhile over at Terminal Yard the U23C yard switcher gets to work on the consists of trains BP-12 and BT-27 that came in earlier.
The U23C heads over to the T.O.F.C. track to pick up this trio of TOFC cars going to Williams Yard in Kings Port NY.
Over at Bruce Electric Equipment the Pier 16 switcher pulls PC Hi Cube boxcar #272242 loaded with electrical parts for Peerless Appliance in Mayfield NY. This car will be delivered directly to Terminal Yard for inclusion on today's outbound train.
As the Terminal Yard crews go about their work we return to Empire City and catch 1/87th sale Sir Neal easing the four Alcos and train EB-2 out of North Side Yard.
1/87th scale Sir Neal comes around the west side curve and holds just short of Hohman Ave.
EBRR teamwork on display. 1/87th scale PC Ralph in the 6574 tacks on the rest of EB-2, the caboose and provides a shove to get the EB-2 underway.
EB-2 rumbles onto the Empire City High Line as it heads towards Bedford and Terminal Yard.
EBRR Train EB-2 passing Bedford Tower
Having cut off from the EB-2 1/87th scale Sir Neal has brought the FA-FB-FB-FA lash up into the engine terminal and gets a friendly greeting from the always sweating hostler Wet Willie.
1/87th scale Kar Knocker has blue flagged the train (you can see the flag just above the U23C roof) and gets to work on EB-2 while the yard crew works the freight cars from earlier train BP-12.
A couple of hours later the yard crew has completed its work, the power for our outbound trains has been coupled on and it's time to start dispatching these trains to Selkirk.
First out of Terminal Yard is Train NV-3 for Selkirk with freight cars for the Atlantic Pacific RR
Next stop Selkirk!!!!
Next out of Terminal Yard is Train NV-5 for Selkirk with freight cars for the Kings Port Division
Next stop Selkirk!!!!
That wraps up the NYCTL's outbound portion of P.C.C.M. 68.
Be sure to follow the action on

Acknowledge dispatch of EB-2 from North Side Yard to Terminal Yard. Acknowledge dispatch of NV-3 and NV-5 to Selkirk. Acknowledge cars on NV-5 for the Kings Port Division.
West Mill out.
The four Alco transfer from North Side is becoming a favorite of mine! The new U23C is being put through its paces at Terminal Yard but I also like the Pier 16 switcher and that nice scene in the corner by Bruce Electric. The N.Y.C.T.L. often gets the busy end of the stick during P.C.C.M.s as witnessed by the need to dispatch two freights for Selkirk. The Kings Port Division anticipates the cars on NV-5! Your engine yard shots are always impressive with the collection of power and that power runs admirably smooth in your videos!

Rock Ridge Yard Out!
Lots of work going on to get two trains moving and the breakdown of the other two trains. I always stop and stare at your engine terminal. The looks is spectacular and it truly amazes me how it came together. Glad the U23C is going thru its paces.
Great job!

Nice wrap up to the outbound trains on your portion of P.C.C.M. 68! The cigar band N.Y.C. cab units on NV-5 make for some nice looking head end power!
