Greetings All,
Welcome Back To NY-NJ Ops #2!!
Our second virtual op with my layout interchanging freight traffic with Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific Railroad continues today with a good amount of train movements to get the outbound NY-NJ freight cars moving towards the APRR and some off layout locations as well. To misquote the late Ed Sullivan today we have a really big show!
The big show starts in Terminal Yard with Big Mike and Kar Knocker taking care of the recently arrived EB-2 freight consist.
The second trick is coming to a close and the guys discuss going out for a few cold ones after work. Sounds good to me!

Rock Ridge Yard out!
Wow! A lot of freight is being moved from Terminal Yard, 16th St. Yard and Bedford Park. I do like the new consist of RS-11 engines doing the drilling at Bedford and Ford. I see some new freight cars that came up from the RF&P mixed in with some non-NYNJ Ops cars. I do see a new job on the railroad? The B&O EPA job looks like it will be a regular move in our ops especially when the cold weather approaches.
Nice work Sir John!!
Thank you very much Sir Neal!!!
DeleteThe EPA can be a good industry for our NY-NJ ops. Coal in, empties out. Empty covered hoppers in. Loaded covered hoppers out. Boxcars of supplies in. Empties or loads out.
We can probably interchange about 24 or more cars with the EPA.
