Welcome back to the NY-NJ Ops #1!!
The two layout virtual op with my layout interchanging freight traffic with Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific Railroad continues today with hotshot train movements between Bedford Park Yard and Terminal Yard and the dispatch of two outbound trains to Rock Ridge Yard.
The action starts in the cozy confines of Bedford Park Yard with engineer Robert R back for the new NY-NJ Ops. PC Alco RS11 7608 is also back working the BPY and its transfer trains.
Robert R starts his day working the Bedford Park Ford Plant.
An empty Empire Belt 86' boxcar gets pulled from track #1.
PC Train BP-12 makes its run to Terminal Yard.
Big Mike pulls the BP-12 freight cars from the RS11.The 86'ers are set aside for pending movement to the APRR Rock Ridge Yard.
Non NY-NJ traffic is coupled onto the 7608 for the shove move back to Bedford Park Yard.
PC Train BP-41 shoves towards Bedford Park Yard.After spotting the non NY-NJ traffic Robert R ties down the 7608 and caboose in the yard in Bedford Park Yard.A few hours later the NY-NJ road trains are ready to go and the first crew is called. U25B 2647 and 2568 are making their virtual ops debuts.
The engineer of the 2647 that will haul Train NJ-5 towards Rock Ridge Yard with help from U25B 2568 confers with Kar Knocker before boarding the locomotive.
Train NJ-5 departs Terminal Yard for Rock Ridge Yard.
Next stop Rock Ridge Yard!!!Back in the engine terminal the engineer for Extra Train 6533 West checks in with engine hostler Wet Willie as he picks up his locomotive.
The 6533 is coupled on and is getting ready to roll.

Excellent outbound series!! The new PC U25B engines look great hauling that large manifest train. Hopefully Kar Knocker approves of the motive power. The PC 6533 U-Boat looks good pulling those gondolas as I’m sure Wet Willie approved the train. The APRR Yard crew awaits both trains at Rock Ridge Yard with Antici --- pation!!
