Holiday Trackage Rights Part 2

 Greetings All,

The Holiday Trackage Rights series continues today with the focus on the Erie Lackawanna, Chessie System and pre merger Pennsylvania RR.

Erie Lackawanna Train NE-74 circa 1972 with pooled Burlington Northern power comes thru Empire City.

A long Chessie System train comes thru Bedford, NY powered by a B&O GP35-GP35-SDP40-SD40-2 consist.

The Chessie System train crosses over the Empire City viaduct. All locomotives are Athearn BB models.

A five unit PRR F7 lash up with two F7As in the lead pulls a train out of Terminal Yard.

The five F7s crossing the Empire City viaduct are Bachmann models hauling a train exercising pre merger Holiday Trackage Rights.

Enjoy the above trains making their way thru the layout during a winter snow storm just in time for the Holidays!

Thanks for reading and watching!!!
See you soon!!!

  1. Another excellent post featuring seldom seen power on the N.Y.C.T.L.! I admire your collection of locomotives and rolling stock with all of these B&O and PRR freight cars! The EL and B&O trains were great but I'll admit to be partial to the video of the terrific PRR meet with those long trains and multiple unit consists! Thanks for the treat!

    1. Thanks Ralph!!! It's nice getting the B&O, EL and PRR equipment belonging to my now grown boys onto the layout and watching them run. It brings back nice memories of years past.

  2. That's some great video you did for the holidays! I must say that PC Ralph's PRR train was my favorite right behind Sir Jeff's Chessie train. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the video! I did enjoy the EL lead train as well...

Thanks for the great work breaking out lots of rolling stock rarely seen!!
