Greetings All,
Welcome Back to New York - New Jersey Ops #5!!!
Our fifth NY-NJ Virtual Op with my NYCTL interchanging freight traffic with Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific Railroad continues today with more train movements getting the outbound NYNJ freight cars moving to Terminal Yard.
We open today's installment with PC engineer Robert R. reporting for duty at Bedford Park Yard.
The work at BPY starts with pulling four empty CN 50' newsprint boxcars making their virtual ops debut from All-City Storage for movement back to a Canadian paper mill.
Next stop is the Bedford Park Ford Plant as we catch three B&O auto racks loaded with finished autos being pulled from the plant for movement to a New Jersey Distribution Center.
Still working the Ford Plant two empty APRR 86' boxcars are spulled out of siding #1.
Also pulled from siding #1 is an empty EBRR 86' boxcar. The three empty 86'ers will be heading to IDEAL Auto Parts in Rock Ridge, NJ for their next NYNJ loads.

The Bedford switch work begins at the Schaefer Brewery with several loaded boxcars of beer being pulled from the siding including the HR black 40' boxcar that will be going to ShopRite in Rock Ridge, NJ.

Rock Ridge Yard out!
The action continues and it’s exciting to see another industry in Empire City adding new customers, especially in Canada! The work at Ford will have the AP crew and Ideal Auto Parts ready to fill those box cars, as well as handing off the auto racks to Ford. Those EB U-Boats look good working EB-2 today. I hope Wet Willie is taken care of after servicing all those engines today.
Great work Sir John!
