Transfers and interchange are the theme of the day on the N.Y.C.T.L. as the B&O, the PC, the EBRR, and the LIRR all move cars between each other! All trains moved together as a well coordinated effort! Things of note: I really liked the photo of the B&O transfer running light with its blue colors from head end of the consist to caboose! Mr. BMK is still visiting and having a great time, including climbing up on the roof with photographer Emory to get the best views of local train action! The U Boat meet was impressive. Talk about POWER! North Side was remarkably busy with cars and locomotives everywhere! A most enjoyable installment!

Rock Ridge Yard out!!
Welcome back to Conductor Murray at Terminal Yard! Nice to see him get right into the swing of things. Also Mr. BMK is back observing the work in action at the yards…
I have to agree that we’ve seen more U boats so far than in the past. I think they must need to burn off some hours or they’ll owe someone money? Just a guess.
The amount of freight cars today alone shows how much work is going on between the 3 major yards in and around Empire City and the crew handles it with ease.
Looking forward to the conclusion tomorrow!!
