Train SP-10 gets the honors of being the first train of PCCM traffic from Selkirk powered by U23Cs 6710 and 6718. The SP-10 is coming thru Empire City and headed towards Bedford.
The U23Cs bring Train SP-10 into Terminal Yard under the watchful eyes of Big Mike. The 6710 and trailing 6718 were purchased by the Penn Central for yard power and have frequently held that job here.
Big Mike meets the SP-10 U23Cs at the engine terminal fuel pad and urges engine hostler to get them serviced ASAP!
Big Mike couples the "Junk Power" onto a train of empties that will be heading out of the yard shortly. If you listen carefully you can hear him muttering good riddance!!

Robert R had brought the Bedford Park freight traffic out to Bedford Tower and awaits clearance to depart the yard limits for Terminal Yard as Train BP-12.
Train BP-12 heads to Terminal Yard.
The BP-12 arrives in Terminal Yard.
Robert R checks with the Terminal Yard yardmaster after coupling onto three boxcars of PCCM traffic going to Bedford Park industries. Even though this is not hot Ford auto parts traffic the quick turnaround timeslot is still adhered to.

Kudos to the versatile #6710 & 6718 for handling train SP-10! Big Mike has his opinions about motive power and it seems someone ha some fun assembling that S12-F7B-H24-66 consist for him to gripe about! Those autoframe loads are excellent and nicely enhance the ops at Ford. The Kings Port Railfan Society in the VW seems to be getting a good show in Empire City this series! They enjoy the addition of the B&O 16th Street Yard op as much as I do. Great stuff and looking forward to more!

A great start to your inbound trains! I see a number of AP/EB reefers getting ready to head to the AP soon. That was a lot of motive power from Selkirk. I’m sure Big Mike was happy to see them, maybe?
It looks like the KPRS crew gets around. It is railfan season and getting a view of some of your new industries,
