Penn Central Car Movements #85 / N.Y.C.T.L. Part 7/ Final Interchange

 Greetings All,

Welcome back to Penn Central Car Movements #85!!!

The inbound portions of this virtual op with my N.Y.C.T.L. interchanging freight trains with PC Ralph's Kings Port Division and Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific RR concludes today.

We open our short final segment with Train LI-2 from Selkirk passing Bedford Tower as it heads to Terminal Yard. The LI-2 was routed down the Hudson Line today to avoid congestion in the Bronx.

The LI-2 rolls thru Bedford NY and arrives at Terminal Yard.

The yard job pulls the working caboose from the LI-2 as Kar Knocker looks on.

The LI-2 power is coupled back on for the trip to North Side Yard in Empire City where the freight consist will be turned over to the LIRR.

The LI-2 departs Terminal Yard

Train LI-2 arrives at North Side Yard. LIRR engineer Jimmy Alco has his engines and caboose awaiting the LI-2 arrival.

LIRR and EBRR trainmen assist the PC trainmen in pulling their caboose off LI-2 for the return trip to Terminal Yard.

Jimmy Alco has the LIRR caboose coupled on and gets the waybills for his conductor from EBRR conductor John.

PC Ralph and Sir Neal ride the engines as Jimmy Alco eases in to couple up to the freight consist.

The LIRR Transfer Run takes the PCCM freight cars from PC Train LI-2 to Fresh Pond Yard.

Put it in the books!!!

This concludes the NYCTLs outbound portion of P.C.C.M. 85.

Be sure to catch the action on PC Ralph's Kings Port Division and Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific RR.

Thanks for reading and watching!!!
See ya soon!!!

It’s a wrap! Love watching your pair of RS units in action, along with the LIRR caboose in yellow and blue!! Nice to see a PC passenger train as well. Meets are nice and that one was a treat!

Always a pleasure to see the LIRR get into the mix, taking the virtual ops even farther "beyond the basement"! That is a terrific PC mixed consist on LI-2! Nice inclusion of the passenger train with the mixed coaches on the lower level! The LIRR Transfer wasted no time getting out of town! A mighty fine finish!
