Greetings All,
Welcome back to Penn Central Car Movements #91!!!
We are closing out our outbound portion today with our last local train and the dispatch of our train to Selkirk with freight traffic for 1:1 Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific Railroad and PC Ralph's Kings Port Division.
Our last local outbound series train, MR-1, gets ready to depart Terminal Yard powered by a trio of PC GP7s. The MR-1 will work both T&R Gravel and Hudson Coal.
The MR-1 departs Terminal Yard.
MR-1s first stop is T&R Gravel to pick up EL boxcar #73510 loaded with bagged iron ore for Port Owen Brick.
The loads are pulled out and the empties get shoved back.
The MR-2 heads for home.
Train MR-2 comes into Terminal Yard and rolls over the weigh in motion scale as Kar Knocker inspects the train.
With our PCCM freight cars now in the yard we turn the op over to Big Mike to build our outbound train which will be Train SK-5.
First move is to pick up NYC covered hopper #892010 from the car shop. The newly repaired 892010 is heading to Freihofer's Bakery with a load of flour from Red Wing Milling.
Next move for the yard job to start working with the freight cars that came into the yard from the Empire Belt RR.
EL boxcar #73510 going to Port Owen Brick gets pulled from the MR-2 freight consist that has been cleared for interchange by Kar Knocker.
Big Mike holds on track #2 as the EBRR Alcos depart the yard.
Sir Neal heads for North Side Yard.
With the yard clear Big Mike shoves eight coal hoppers for Corning Glass up track #8 as he starts to finalize the blocking of outbound train SK-5 on the departure track.
An aerial view of the yard shows Kar Knocker to the left getting ready to prepare the SK-5 for departure and Big Mike pulling a cut of cars from Terminal Warehouse and Cold Storage.
NH boxcar #36116 and PC boxcar #360158 get spotted at the mocked up Terminal Yard cleanout track to be cleaned and ready for their next PCCM loads.
Penn Central Train SK-5 departs Terminal Yard.
Next stop Selkirk!!!
This wraps up the NYCTL's outbound portion of Penn Central Car Movements #91. The inbound portion of PCCM 91 will start on Friday, April 8th.
Be sure to follow the action on Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific RR and PC Ralph's Kings Port Division.
Thanks for reading and watching!!!
See you Friday!!!

West Mill out.
I always enjoy the empties and loads exchange at Hudson Coal! The sound on your MR-1 videos really conveys the power of those three Geeps at the end end! The pair of SD9s looks good working Terminal Yard! A very cool light engine meet between the EBRR Alcos and the PC EMDs! That was a neat surprise I wasn't expecting! SK-5 is a good sized train and has plenty of power to pull it with the five unit consist assigned to run to Selkirk! Excellent conclusion of the "outbound" segment of this virtual ops!

Nice looking trio of PC GP7 engines! Kar Knocker had his hands full in the yard building train SK-5. The APRR is ready to pick up the NYC covered hopper once it arrives in Weehawken. Nice wrap up on your HUGE outbound train!
