P.C.C.M. 59A

Greetings All,

Welcome to the P.C.C.M. 59 series!!!

The 59 series will be a coast to coast five layout virtual op featuring Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific RR
Brian's Ralston Creek RR  and
my N.Y.C.T.L.
The guys will be posting the gathering and dispatch of their outbound freight cars this weekend and we'll reconvene next weekend to post our inbound trains and freight car deliveries.

This traditional style virtual op will feature both interlayout and intralayout car movements. The interlayout cars will head out to their next layout in PCCM 59 while the intralayout cars will be spotted for a future PCCM load. Back in the beginning Ralph and I built these moves into the PCCMs so the exact car did not go to the exact industry every round.

We'll start out at the Empire Belt Railroad's North Side Yard in Empire City NY. Below 1/87th scale senior engineer Sir Neal and PC Ralph are finalizing their morning PCCM 59 assignments.
PC Ralph is back on the Morning Industrial Job and we catch up to the MIJ shoving towards the Gervais Pipe / Ralph's Grocery Warehouse siding.
At Gervais Pipe & Fitting the MIJ is pulling these two empty KP&W Evans Breadbox cars to be returned to Kings Port Steel.
The MIJ has shoved back to Ralph's Grocery Warehouse to pick up these three empty 40' boxcars. These cars will be featured in some intralayout moves as PCCM 59 progresses.
The MIJ has set out PC Gondola #288673, left at Northside Yard by the LIRR in PCCM 58D. It is now spotted at Gervais Pipe for its next PCCM load.
1/87th scale Sir Neal is at Neal's Lumber & Hardware helping out with the removal of EL #73510 loaded with shipping crates for Peerless Appliance in Mayfield NY and PC #77047 loaded with pallets for Woodstock Hills Natural Soda in Bloomberg NY.
The MIJ does a little sorting as they shove P&LE #35892 onto the Empire City Main. This car will be heading empty to Terminal Yard while the other two 40' boxcars are needed at Empire City west side industries.
The MIJ is now on the west side with the two 40' boxcars in tow.
The NYC Early Bird boxcar is being spotted at Walsh Steel Wool Products for it's next PCCM load.
P&E #3638 is spotted at Reliable Machine for its next PCCM load.
PC #104478 is pulled from DryWell Inks filled with 55 gallon drums of ink for Canton Box in West Mill NY.
The MIJ has returned to pick up P&LE #35892 and put its train back together.
Back at North Side Yard 1/87th scale PC Ralph is doing some 'rough blocking' moves. NYC #80775, left in North Side Yard at the end of  PCCM 58D was picked up from Walsh Steel Wool Products with a load of muffler mesh for ACME Auto Parts in Mayfield NY. It is being coupled to PC #77047 as both are heading to the KPD's West Mill Yard.
The morning work completed 1/87th scale PC Ralph and his conductor brakeman head for lunch at Moriarty's Pub & Restaurant.
Meanwhile 1/87th scale senior engineer Sir Neal has prepped North Side Yard for the pending arrival of the LIRR transfer train.
The LIRR Transfer heads thru Bedford NY towards North Side Yard with four gons of scrap metal from Gershow Recycling for Sal's Salvage in West Mill NY, a pair of empty hoppers, empty flat cars and a boxcar.
The LIRR arrives at North Side Yard as 1/87th scale Sir Neal inspects the incoming freight cars.
The LIRR engine has run around its train on track #3 and is coupling up to the outbound freight cars sitting on track #1.
The LIRR grabs its caboose and heads out of North Side Yard.
Coming around the west side the LIRR train heads back to Bliss Yard.
1/87th scale senior engineer Sir Neal is combining the MIJ and LIRR cars into EBRR Train EB-2 which is the morning transfer run from North Side Yard to the Penn Central's Terminal Yard.
EB-2 leaving North Side Yard with the LIRR cars in front.
Cars brought in by the Morning Industrial Job are on the tail end.
We'll cut it off here for today with EB-2 arriving at Terminal Yard.
Later today we'll turn it over to the Penn Central before closing out the outbound portion on Sunday.
Thanks for reading!!!
See Ya Tomorrow!!!
