Penn Central Car Movements #107 Part 2

 Greetings All,

Welcome Back to Penn Central Car Movements #107

PCCM 107, our one weekend three layout virtual op focusing on auto parts and baked goods with PC Ralph's Kings Port Division and my NYCTL layout interchanging PCCM freight traffic with Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific RR but not each other concludes today as inbound PCCM traffic arrives at Terminal Yard and is delivered to its respective consignees and interchanges.

The action starts in Empire City as Penn Central Train RM-12 from Selkirk (Refrigerated Merchandise or Reefer Madness depending on who you ask) heads onto the High Line towards Terminal Yard.
Train RM-12 rolls thru Bedford.
The RM-12 arrives in Terminal Yard.
Alco Joe and Kar Knocker prepare to get the RM-12 consist inspected.
The RM-12 power is placed on the fuel rack.
Alco Joe delivers the TOFC traffic from RM-12 to the TOFC Ramp.
The RM-12 freight consist is sorted and blocked for their next movements. All of these PCCM cars are loaded with baked goods from Nabisco in Philadelphia, PA that came thru Morrisville, Rock Ridge, Weehawken and Selkirk.
Over at the B&O 16th Street Yard a transfer run departs for Terminal Yard.
The B&O Transfer heads to Terminal Yard.
The B&O crew picks up NPM Reefer 473 and PC boxcar 360508 from Terminal Yard.

The PC boxcar and NPM reefer loaded with baked goods from Nabisco get spotted at Consolidated Grocery Distributors.
The B&O crew heads back to 16th Street Yard.
The yard crew gets ready for the departure of Train EC-1 being run today by an extra board engineer. Alco Joe, who usually gets this assignment is at the left thanking engine hostler Wet Willie for not assigning any Alcos or other exotic locomotives to the EC-1 this weekend.
Train EC-1 Departs Terminal Yard.
The EC-1 arrives in North Side Yard.
Conductor Murray and the extra board engineer check in with the EBRR trainmen.
Train EC-2 heads back to Terminal Yard with conductor Murray waving to the trackside rail fans.
A little while later PC Ralph has North Side Yard in order and is ready to deliver the inbound PCCM traffic to the local industries.
The Belt Job makes its moves to enter the industrial track.
The Belt Job delivers two BAR reefers and two PC boxcars loaded with baked goods from Nabisco to Ralph's Grocery Warehouse.
After completing today's switch work the EBRR guys move the LIRR freight traffic to the end of the yard for easier pick up. PC Ralph and the guys head over to Pizza Land for the Sunday Special of freshly made calzones.
With the yard in order and full bellies PC Ralph and the crew are awaiting the arrival of LIRR Train MA-3 which has just cleared EB Tower in East Bedford.
LIRR Train MA-3 from Fresh Pond Yard heads thru Bedford towards the EBRR's North Side Yard.
Train MA-3 rolls towards North Side Yard.
LIRR engineer Jimmy Alco has coupled onto the PCCM freight traffic heading to Fresh Pond Yard and takes a few moments to pick up an order from Pizza Land for the LIRR yard crew.
Jimmy Alco stops to chat with the EBRR guys.
LIRR Train MA-4 departs North Side Yard.
LIRR Train MA-4 heads back to Fresh Pond Yard.
Next stop Fresh Pond Yard!!!
Put it in the books!!!
This concludes my portion of the PCCM 107 operations. Be sure to catch all the action on the Kings Port Division and Atlantic Pacific RR!!
Thanks for reading and watching!!
See you soon!!

    Rock Ridge Yard out!

Going, going, gone! See Ya! A great wrap up to a unique PCCM! The NYCTL turned all the freight around in record time and still had time for Pizza!! Lots of non-PCCM traffic thru Bedford adds to the action. TOFC cars still moving freight as do box cars. Always like seeing the LIRR RS units on trains MA-3/MA-4.

    Great work Sir John!

    West Mill out.

Yeah! Nice job completing the series by delivering Nabisco products to consignees! The RM-12 made me laugh at the idea of the Reefer Madness heading to the High Line. :) That was a cool train of high priority car with the TOFCs mixed in! The wreck train was a neat addition to the series and I noted some damaged cars being hauled away. I continue to enjoy seeing the B&O's moves between 16th St. and Terminal Yard It really adds another operational dimension to the N.Y.C.T.L. A pair of GP7s on the EC-1! I liked that along with the quintet of F units on the train EC-1 met on the way o north Side Yard! First generation power ruled! The Belt Job took care of business with a set of the EBRR's finest at the head end. Add a dash of the LIRR and you have the perfect recipe for the conclusion of a great weekend op!
