 Greetings All,

Welcome Back to Penn Central Car Movements #102!!!
PCCM 102 continues today with my NYCTL interchanging freight traffic with Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific RR and PC Ralph's Kings Port Division.

The inbound action starts today at Terminal Yard where we get a view of ten PCCM freight cars awaiting movement, some head end passenger equipment on track #1 and a pair GE U33Bs on the head end of a TrailVan train sitting on track 8.
Over at Bedford Tower our first inbound Penn Central train, SP-10 from Selkirk is passing Bedford Tower.

Engine hostler Wet Willie checks out newly renumbered RS2 5229 making its PCCM debut as the SP-10 power arrives in the engine terminal.
Kar Knocker and Big Mike get ready to get the SP-10 freight consist inspected and moving to their next destinations. SD9s 6921 and 6924 are pinch hitting today for the U23Cs that are in Selkirk getting inspected.
Big Mike has pulled a string of cabooses to set the field for the outbound local trains that will be made up from the SP-10 consist and the PCCM freight cars waiting in the yard.
Kar Knocker has cleared the train, pulled down the blue flags and Big Mike couples on.
The yard job delivers four TOFC flatcars from the B&M to the Terminal Yard ramp.
Outbound local trains start getting built. The trio of B&M RBLs are loaded with veneers for University Millwork in Bedford, NY and will be sent out in PC Train BT-27, the Bedford Turn.

The 16A heads to Terminal Yard.
The 16A couples NPM reefer 473 to their elderly NYC caboose.
After delivering some non PCCM freight traffic the 16A heads back to Yard "A".
The 16A is back in Yard "A" and parks the reefer next to a perishable protection service truck.
Over at Bedford Tower Robert R gets orders from the towerman for train BP-12.
The BP-12 heads to Terminal Yard.
Train BP-12 arrives in Terminal Yard.
Robert R has coupled up to the PCCM freight cars going back to Bedford Park Yard in train BP-41.
Train BP-41 departs Terminal Yard.
Robert R brings the BP-41 back to Bedford Park.
Having made a runaround move Robert R prepares to shove the inbound cars to their respective sidings.
PC boxcar 160502 loaded with stored materials from Battaglia Brothers Warehouse in Kings Port, NY is shoved into the All City Storage siding.
Over at the Ford Plant we see PC/TOC and KP&W 60' boxcars being shoved into their freight car siding.

It is always a great part of the enjoyment of running virtual ops to observe cars filmed as leaving my layout appear on yours! Our efforts to model the movement of freight cars this way continue to provide a lot of fun and satisfaction. Plenty of those cars came in on SP-10 and I especially liked the meet with the TV Train and its impressive collection of TOFCs. I liked the way SP-10 took some time building up speed after having stopped for the TV train. Faithful modeling of PC Power continues to be a priority as the newly and accurately numbered RS2 makes its appearance! Speaking of motive power, I’m a big fan of the 16A Job’s FA/FB/FA consist! What a great way to keep those older units in service! I’m noting the use of the RS11 on the BP-12/ BP-41! Great train action in videos and nice reminders of all of the behind the scenes work in railroading in your photos of car inspections, caboose moves in preparation of dispatching trains, engine service, etc!

    1. 10-4 West Mill...
Thanks for the compliments Ralph!!! The Alco FA-FB-FA units have been working out very well in the 16A job and I hope upper management forgets they are here!!! The RS11 is temporarily assigned to Bedford Park to handle the heavy PCCM tonnage.
