Welcome back to Penn Central Car Movements #77!!
The inbound portion of this three layout virtual op with my New York Central Train Layout interchanging freight cars with PC Ralph's Kings Port Division and Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific Railroad continues today.
The action starts today with Train TY-2 from Selkirk rumbling over the Empire City viaduct as it heads for Terminal Yard.
Train TY-2 heads thru Empire City
TY-2 rockets thru Bedford behind an FA2-FB1-FB1-RS2 consist.
TY-2 arrives in Terminal Yard.
The engines head for the fuel rack.
An hour later Train TY-4 from Selkirk rolls across the viaduct towards Terminal Yard.
Train TY-4 heads thru Empire City
TY-4 hustles thru Bedford with a NYC U-Boat, APRR GP38-Leased GP30 and another NYC U-Boat.
TY-4 arrives at Terminal Yard.
The TY-4 engines head in for fueling.
Big Mike pulls the cabooses from TY-2 and TY-4 and the Kar Knockers get to work inspecting the train.
Big Mike is building today's outbound locals starting with the empty virtual ops NH and EBRR boxcars that ended up in the yard at the end of the P.C.C.M. 77 Outbound series.
Kar Knocker has released TY-2 and Big Mike wastes no time bringing it into the yard for blocking.
Steel Coil Coaches and empty coal hoppers from Kings Port Steel are spotted for their outbound trains.
More freight cars from West Mill and Williams Yard get blocked for transfer to the Empire Belt RR's North Side Yard in Empire City for local deliveries and interchange with the LIRR.
TY-4 is released and Big Mike couples up to that sharp looking pink boxcar to bring the consist towards the yard.
The trainmen of the NYCTL join with the trainmen of the APRR, KPD and WSOR in supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month. The NYCTL urges everyone to make sure the women in their lives get tested annually.
After moving the first group of Empire City bound freight cars to track 2 this large cut of cars out of Rock Ridge Yard going to Empire City is shoved into track 5.
A block of seven RBLs and Reefers consigned to Ralph's Grocery Warehouse join the rest of the Empire City bound freight cars.
Two APRR 40' boxcars loaded at American Hardware in Rock Ridge NJ and going to Bedford Park are spotted on track 4.
The yard switching done for the moment Big Mike is at Terminal Warehouse & Cold Storage to deliver that HR boxcar loaded with storage racks from Battaglia Brothers Warehouse.
Unfortunately for Big Mike the car had to be spotted at door 14!
A short time later a small Bedford Turn, Train BT-27, departs the yard with two empty EBRR boxcars for the Schaefer Brewery.
Sales are up at the new Schaefer Brewery! Four loaded boxcars have been pulled and the two empty EBRR boxcars are spotted for their next P.C.C.M. loads.
We'll cut it here today with the Bedford Turn conductor out on the caboose platform protecting the shove back to Terminal Yard.
We'll pick it up tomorrow with the dispatch of Train EC-1, a daily transfer to the Empire Belt's North Side Yard in Empire City.Be sure to follow the action on PC Ralph's Kings Port Division and Sir Neal's Atlantic Pacific Railroad.

Looks like Big Mike has the trains under control. Move em’ in, move em’ out! Terminal Warehouse looks great handling all of those box cars. 22 doors! Terrific!

Acknowledge arrival of TY-2 and TY-4, and the dispatch of the Bedford Turn.

The eclectic mix of power on both of the TYs probably caught some railfan attention! It got mine! Classy FA at the head end and surprising RS2 at the rear! APRR orange makes a nice color change in the Dipped Black consists as does the white leased unit. Every time I see your strings of empty coal hoppers I want to do more weathering of the interiors of mine! They look great! Ralph's is getting a lot of shipments today! Pretty cool that switching crews need to be aware of which door to spot cars at the enormous Terminal Warehouse. The KPD joins in the support for Breast Cancer Awareness month and wishes everyone well.
